Ronny Deila was newly appointed manager of Atlanta United. The former Celtic boss is eager to find new recruits for the upcoming season, starting late February.
Odsonne Edouard is said to be on the radar of Atlanta United, as it could end his nightmare Leicester loan stay. The 26 year old has a golden past at Celtic, arriving at Celtic Park a year after Deila had left, but they share the adventure of previous life at this football club.
Odsonne Edouard scored 66 goals in 126 league games while at Celtic, so to understand the interest is of course no problem. The Scottish Premier and Major League Soccer are possibly level when it comes to quality, Premier League is a very different ball game.
The situation for the French forward has been frustrating while on loan at Leicester, being overlooked by both Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy as they both prefered to play Jamie Vardy and later using Patson Daka as a cover, Edouard hardly had a look in, starting in just one game, The Carabao Cup win vs. Walsall.

Leicester fans has not really got a chance to value this player at all, not really given a chance, being on the field in just 7 outings, 6 of them from the bench, and not a lot of minutes play. He was involved in 30 league games at Crystal Palace last season, scoring 7 goals, and with his past at Celtic, undoubtly a player with a certain quality that could be a good addition to a club in Major League Soccer.
Ronny Deila is back in Major League Soccer having a good name with is previous success at New York City, leading that club to a cup championship. Deila has won four league league trophis, one in Norway with Stromsgodset, two in Scotland with Celtic, and latest in Belgium with Brugge.
