Tottenham express interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lee Kang-in
Having been ravaged by injuries, Tottenham Hotspur are in need of more signings during this January transfer window.
The Lilywhites have already started in strong fashion, signing goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague last week. And the young shot-stopper has gone on to keep two clean sheets in as many games for Spurs.
However, there are still gaps in the squad. The attacking unit remains a concern following injuries to Richarlison and Wilson Odobert. Mikey Moore made his first competitive appearance against Tamworth FC in the FA Cup at the weekend after being almost two months out on the sidelines with a bad virus, while Richarlison and Odobert have missed the majority of the first part of the campaign.

In addition, Timo Werner is yet to score in the Premier League this season, whereas skipper Son Heung-min has bagged only five top-flight goals, underwhelming by his usual standards. This has led to the North Londoners being linked with several attacking players over the last few months.
Now, according to an exclusive report from Ontheminute.com, Tottenham have joined the transfer race for Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Lee Kang-in. Manchester United and Newcastle United have enquired about the player, who has fallen downing the pecking order under Luis Enrique this season.
Despite only starting 10 Ligue 1 games, Lee Kang-in, who arrived at PSG from Mallorca in the summer of 2023, has delivered six goals and three assists to date this term. These are very good numbers and show how impactful the South Korean has been for PSG. And his performances have caught the attention of some clubs in the Premier League.
While Spurs are showing an interest in the 23-year-old, the aforementioned report adds that they would prefer to wait until the summer transfer window before potentially making a move for the €40million-rated attacker. If PSG are willing to let go of Lee in this transfer window—either on loan or permanently—the North London club must act now rather than wait until the summer.

In the Incheon-born talent, Ange Postecoglou would get an extremely versatile player who can operate in different positions across both midfield and attack. He is more effective playing centrally as a No.10 but is more than capable of influencing games from wide areas and deeper roles in midfield.

Plus, Lee is tenacious and works extremely hard off the ball, making him an ideal fit in Big Ange’s system at Spurs. The presence of compatriots Son and Yang Min-hyeok would also be beneficial in helping the 23-year-old settle down at Spurs should a move materialise.
With Lee’s future at PSG uncertain, now is the right time for Tottenham to act and sign him.
