Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has become accustomed to dealing with a multitude of injury situations, but things are looking up (well, at least partially) for a few players.
Josip Stanišić is “very close”, while João Palhinha is due back a little bit further out. Hiroki Itō, though, is still far away from a return.
“Itō had a complicated injury, so I don’t want to put too much pressure on him. Hopefully we’ll see him back in the next 6-8 weeks. We’ll give him all the time and rest he needs. Things are looking good for João, he may be back in the next 2-3 weeks. We’re not that far from having a full healthy squad. Josip Stanišić is also very close,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
It has been a lost season for all three players so far. Hopefully, the injury situation rapidly improves for all three players.
