West Ham United winger Luis Guilherme is reportedly on the verge of securing a move to the Saudi Pro League, according to breaking reports from The Times and ExWHUEmployee.
Gary Jacob reports that the club are currently in discussions to sell the young winger, who has struggled to make an impact since his £20 million transfer from Brazil in the summer.
The former Palmeiras wonderkid was highly touted at the start of the transfer window when Tim Steidten orchestrated a deal for the then 18-year-old winger. Should Guilherme depart at an expected loss, it would add further scrutiny to Steidten, whose summer signings have led to a diminished role in this transfer window.
Notably, Guilherme was absent from the squad in West Ham’s victory over Fulham last night, despite head coach Graham Potter being without several attacking options.
Claret & Hugh have contacted sources within the club to clarify the rumours, but the story certainly appears to have momentum
