Bayern Munich maintain their lead at the top of the Bundesliga after a 5-0 thumping of Hoffenheim, but last season’s title winners Bayer Leverkusen is right on their heels. The room for error is slim, and no mistakes can be made. With that, the Bavarians host Wolfsburg in a bid to evade Leverkusen’s title charge.

Team news
Given that Wolfsburg isn’t in a relegation battle and is instead in the hunt for Europe, Bayern will look to field their strongest XI which should look like this:
No one seems to have picked up injuries in the last match and in training, so we’ll go for this lineup. Manuel Neuer starts in goal, with a defence of Alphonso Davies, Eric Dier, Dayot Upamecano, and Konrad Laimer. Dier remains in the starting XI because Kim Min-jae can’t be rushed back from his injury. Plus, the Englishman has defied the notion that he could not play in Vincent Kompany’s system.
The midfield will see the retention of Aleksandar Pavlović and Joshua Kimmich, behind a front four of Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane. If you have changes in mind, let us know in the comments!
