Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel has struggled to get playing time this season, but that does not mean that he is eager to leave Bayern Munich.
In fact, per a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Tel had the opportunity to join Eintracht Frankfurt, but rejected the chance:
Eintracht Frankfurt wanted Mathys Tel on loan as a direct replacement for Omar Marmoush this month. Bayern were open for this scenario, but the Frenchman and his agent did not want to leave.
Tel did play a half against Hoffenheim and contributed an assist, but for the long-term look at the second half of the season, it seems unlikely that Tel will continue to get that much time.
Did he make the right move?
