Tottenham Hotspur are linked with AC Milan forward Noah Okafor
Tottenham Hotspur have a lot of work to do in the January transfer window in the wake of their disappointing North London derby defeat.
Spurs now sit 14th in the Premier League table and are without a win in the competition since mid-December. One of the major factors behind the North Londoners’ woeful season is the injury situation, and while Ange Postecoglou does have the defence of that, it is still unpardonable to be only eight points above the dreaded relegation zone.
With the winter transfer window in full swing, the Lilywhites have the opportunity to make signings in order to strengthen Ange Postecoglou’s ranks. They must accelerate their transfer business after bringing in goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague at the start of the month.

In terms of attacking reinforcements, Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani was Spurs’ top target. Postecoglou admitted the club’s interest in signing the Frenchman, who is now poised to sign for Juventus on loan. That being said, Tottenham are still assessing the market for a forward on loan.
According to an exclusive report from TBR Football, AC Milan’s Noah Okafor has been put forward to Spurs.
Noah Okafor flew to Germany earlier this week to sign for RB Leipzig on loan from AC Milan. However, RB Leipzig have pulled the plug on the deal because the results of the medical showed that the Switzerland international is not ready for action immediately. This means the deal has collapsed and the winger should return to AC Milan.
The 24-year-old joined Milan from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023, scoring seven goals and assisting a further five times in 52 games thus far. Okafor only managed five league starts under former Milan boss Paulo Fonseca this season, and has not featured for his successor Sergio Conceicao due to a calf muscle tear.

It appears the Swiss’ calf muscle tear will not allow him to return to action soon, which led to Leipzig cancelling the loan agreement with Milan and the deal collapsing. In that case, Spurs would be wise to not consider a move for the versatile Milan attacker.

If Okafor is not immediately available to Big Ange, there is no point in signing him on loan. There is no estimated date of his return from injury, which makes a deal extremely risky. Thus, Spurs must stay away from Okafor and look for other forward options to bolster their squad.
