Entering this matchday, Bayern Munich ranks 9th in the new-style table, while Feyenoord ranks 18th. Regardless of that, though, this should be a stiff test for the Bavarians who are riding a four-game winning streak in the Bundesliga.
In their last Champions League match, Bayern Munich dispatched FC Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1, while Feyenoord downed Sparta Prague 4-2. Clearly, Bayern Munich will have the overall advantage in talent and depth, but Feyenoord is not a side that should be slept on. The Bavarians can ill-afford a letdown.
