Feyenoord manager Brian Priske is rallying his troops to be ready for battle and bring tenacity to the pitch when Bayern Munich visits on Wednesday for a Champions League tilt.
“Tomorrow it is not only about tactics, but also about fighting spirit. We are the underdog, but we have to show that we are ready to fight for each other. I know that we’ll give everything tomorrow,” Priske said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Attacker Santiago Giménez seems ready to do what his coach is asking.
“We’re really looking forward to it. It’s a great opportunity to meet one of the biggest clubs in Europe, a contender for the title. We’ve watched footage of teams that have beaten Bayern and the key is in the counter. Bayern are very good in possession, we have to be ready for that. Our team realizes that we have to fight. Tomorrow is a great chance for that,” said Giménez (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Clearly, this one is set up for some fireworks!
