TOTTENHAM
Spurs are now willing to sell talisman Harry Kane this summer if he doesn’t agree a new contract with the club.
I’m told the Lilywhites prefer not to sell to a Premier League rival, meaning a potential move to Bayern Munich is now looking more and more likely.
The German giants have already seen two bids rejected and are expected to come back with a new proposal – but sources say it will take £100million to strike a deal with Tottenham.
Negotiations are set to accelerate following Spurs’ decision, and Kane could now depart before the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
New manager Ange Postecoglou wants the situation resolved as soon as possible as he prepares his side for the new campaign.
Part of those preparations will be securing a replacement for the England captain, should he leave the club.
I’m told Tottenham are concerned about losing a guaranteed 25-goal-per-season forward, and will thus concentrate a big chunk of any fee on signing a replacement.
Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus has been identified as a potential solution, with the Italian club making him available amid a backdrop of financial problems.
Spurs are likely to face competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the Serbian’s signature.

MAN UNITED
Tottenham’s decision has given United fresh hope of signing Harry Kane – who was their top target and number one priority heading into the summer window.
My understanding is that Man United is the striker’s preferred destination despite interest from Bayern Munich.
However, both Kane and the Red Devils recognise negotiations with Tottenham will be tough.
Having already spent big on Mason Mount and Andre Onana, Man United need to raise funds for a marquee striker signing – whether it is Kane, Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta, or anyone else.
Scott McTominay and Fred are expected to be allowed to leave, alongside Eric Bailly – who could follow Alex Telles to Saudi Arabia.
Dean Henderson is expected to seal a permanent move to Nottingham Forest shortly, while Erik ten Hag will entertain offers for several other first-team stars if they arrive.

EVERTON
An exit for Demarai Gray is possible before the transfer deadline.
There has been no progress with contract talks at Everton and he is the subject of interest from Fulham, Crystal Palace and in Saudi Arabia.
I’m told the Toffees are ready to listen to offers for the winger in order to boost their own transfer kitty.
Gray is expected to be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives.
Meanwhile, Everton are leading the race for Leeds’ Wilfried Gnonto with it now looking inevitable he will leave Elland Road this summer.
Sean Dyche sees the youngster’s versatility as key and talks are ongoing about bringing him to Goodison Park.
Napoli are also interested in the forward, who is very well regarded in Italy, but need to raise funds before making signings – putting Everton in pole position.
I’m told a bid of £20million will land Gnonto with Leeds needing to bring in a fee after letting several other stars leave on loan.

LEEDS UNITED
Daniel Farke has confirmed both Jack Harrison and Tyler Adams are out injured until mid-September.
I’m told those injuries could impact their chances of moving away from Elland Road this summer.
Both players are keen to move on from Leeds this summer and play at a higher level and have been the subject of interest in the window so far.
That interest is expected to continue until the deadline but if they cannot prove their fitness, question marks will be raised about their suitability for interested clubs.

CRYSTAL PALACE
Michael Olise is the subject of genuine interest from both Man City and Chelsea.
He’s currently out injured with a hamstring problem he picked up at the Under-21 European Championships, but I’m told he is seen as a long-term project by both sides.
Palace will be powerless if either side activates the £35million release clause in his contract with the Eagles.
Losing Olise will be a huge blow for the Selhurst Park outfit with Wilfried Zaha already heading to Galatasaray this summer.
Chelsea are pushing to land the France Under-21 star, while Man City see him as a potential replacement for Al-Hilal-bound Riyad Mahrez.

FULHAM
I’m told it now looks likely Aleksandar Mitrovic will get his wish of leaving Craven Cottage for Al-Hilal this summer.
The striker is training alone and not taking part in pre-season friendlies as he looks to force Fulham’s hand in negotiations with the Saudi outfit.
I’m told Fulham are trying to maximise his value and have already rejected two offers – but Al-Hilal are set to return with a bid of around £50million, which would be a record for a Saudi club.
The Londoners are planning for life without Mitrovic by moving for Wolves star Raul Jimenez.
I’m told another striker will be added to Marco Silva’s squad if the Serbian talisman is to complete a move away in the coming weeks.
