Fans think Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is dreaming of a move to Chelsea after spotting his frequent likes of posts relating to the Blues on social media.
Duran was the recent super-sub in Villa’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool after scoring twice during a brief cameo performance to put Unai Emery‘s side on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League.
Their top-four triumph was secured the following evening after Tottenham‘s defeat against title-chasing Manchester City confirmed Villa’s place amongst European football’s elite next season.
Most would expect to see the majority of Duran’s social media engagement to focus on Villa posts, however, Chelsea appear to be the 20-year-old’s favourite club.
Duran has struggled for regular minutes during his first full season at the Midlands club after joining in an £18m deal from MLS side Chicago Fire in January 2023.
