Arsenal have been ridiculed by football fans after they decided to post a questionable social media update after Manchester United won the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Gunners endured another trophyless season, finishing Premier League runners-up behind Man City for the second consecutive season and crashing out of all other cup competitions.
Meanwhile, United suffered a miserable league campaign that saw Erik ten Hag‘s side record their worst-ever Premier League finish in eighth, but still lifted silverware in the FA Cup.
Goals from youngsters Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo were the difference as United claimed a 2-1 victory over their derby rivals at Wembley, with the win securing them their 13th FA Cup title.
Arsenal still hold the record for the most trophy victories and were keen to make that point in an unsavoury post on their official X account that hasn’t gone down well with football fans.

In contrast, United beat Liverpool in the quarter-finals and went on to claim victory against Coventry in the final four and Man City in the final.
Fans were stunned to see Arsenal posting in the wake of United’s FA Cup glory, with one reply stating: ‘I have to say this is embarrassing to post this straight after Manchester United lift the F.A Cup when they haven’t lifted a trophy for 4 years.’
Another similarly added: ‘So embarrassing. ALWAYS about them’, while a third comment mocked Arsenal, commenting: ‘The audacity to post this.’
A final reply hit out at the Gunners for their online actions, explaining: ‘This club is shameless.’
