Spurs monitoring AEK Athens forward Levi García
According to a report from Fichajes, Spurs are looking into the possibility of signing AEK Athens forward Levi García this summer.
The left-footed 26-year-old has been a constant goal-scoring threat in Greece over the past two seasons, making it very likely that he will not be plying his trade in Hellas this coming season.
The Trinidad and Tobago international is valued by Transfermarkt at €13 million.
García moved to Athens from Beitar Jerusalem for €2.2 million four summers ago. He has been capped by Trinidad and Tobago 42 times, scoring eight goals.
Very much a late-bloomer, last season he made 27 appearances for AEK Athens, scoring 14 goals and providing further four assists. He has started this season in red-hot form, providing the Dikéfalos five goals and an assist during the Europa Conference League qualifiers.
García’s contract at AEK Athens is currently set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Levi García would make for a very Postecoglou-esque signing
A promising forward not on many teams’ radar who can play both centrally and out wide—just how Ange Postecoglou likes his forwards.
Spurs are of course pursuing other options, meaning this one could turn out to be a late window signing; García is unlikely to turn down a Premier League move at this stage of his career.

One could say that, given his numbers and likelihood of wanting to move, Spurs should go for García regardless of whom else they bring in. Postecoglou has demonstrated at Celtic, after all, that he can work wonders with lesser-known players granted they fit his system.
