Tottenham outcast Sergio Reguilón subject to interest from Galatasaray
As reported by Turkish outlet Haber Sarı Kırmızı, Galatasaray are likely to make a move for Spurs left-back Sergio Reguilón before the transfer window slams shut.
The Spain international was left out of the Lilywhites’ pre-season squad by Ange Postecoglou so he could find another club.
Last season’s record Süper Lig champions, on the other hand, are keen to bring in reinforcements after receiving a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Beşiktaş in the Turkish Super Cup recently.
Reguilón, who moved to Spurs four summers ago from Real Madrid in a £32m move, became an outcast at Spurs as early as last season. He was dispatched on loan at Man United before being sent out on loan to Brentford for the second half of last season. Jose Mourinho was the Spurs manager who signed him back then.
He has represented Spurs just 67 times during his time in North London, with his £53k-per-week contract at the club expiring next June.
The 27-year-old is currently valued at €12 million by Transfermarkt and reportedly wants European football with his next club.
Galatasaray move fulfils Reguilón’s demand
Galatasaray are going to play in the revamped Champions League this season, which fulfils Reguilón’s demand for European football.
There are no two ways about this prospective transfer: the Spaniard should take the offer if it comes his way. This is a get-out-of-jail card for him.

Likewise, Spurs should let him go for a massively cut-down fee if they want to recoup any money for him at all, lest they risk losing him for free next summer.
