Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané and center-back Tarek Buchmann hit the pitch to continue their work in trying to get healthy in time for the DFB-Pokal match against SSV Ulm on Friday.
While Buchmann’s prospects for playing time are slim, Sané is walking into a “competition cauldron” where Michael Olise, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Mathys Tel, and Arijon Ibrahimović (currently injured) will all be vying for playing time:
Comings and goings from training
Abendzeitung’s Victor Catalina was there to catch some of the happenings from the session:
Training is underway – without birthday boy Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Leroy Sané, but with Harry Kane again.
In a quote posty, Catalina added more information:
Phonzy Davies is back to the sounds of a Gotye remix. Michael Olise is still missing. #FCBayern
Interestingly, Vincent Kompany watched the squad warm-up as well:
The boss (on the right with the red cap) is also watching the warm-up for once. #FCBayern
Boey trains alone
Sacha Boey continued his individual work:
Sacha #Boey is working hard on his own today. #FCBayern #Bayern
Editor’s Note: I thoroughly believe that Boey was, indeed, working out hard…but this video does not represent that. It looks like my level of enthusiasm when my wife tells me I need to take the trash out.
