Of course, he has plenty of help. Bayern Munich have the most expensive squad in the league by some margin, and should still be the favorites to win the title. Still, as long as Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen keeps marching along, and the specter of Tuchel’s tenure hangs over the club like a shadow, only good performances will keep the critics at bay.
