Update — 4:10PM EDT: Saudis swoop in, Bayern open to sale
According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Kingsley Coman has an offer to go to Saudi Arabia and Bayern Munich is open to a move:
Kingsley Coman has a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. Bayern would be willing to sell him. Talks are taking place.
Bayern are open to letting Coman go without a replacement. The people in charge believe the squad is well equipped on the wings.
According to a report from L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has made the decision to leave the club before the transfer deadline:
Kingsley Coman has decided to leave Bayern before Friday’s deadline day. His destination is not known yet, but several English clubs are interested.
Coman was one of several big earners that Bayern bosses told they can leave the club. The Frenchman has decided not to stay. His decision was made a few days ago.
With a salary as large as Coman’s — and a long injury list to boot — the Frenchman might have trouble finding a new home on short notice. It also remains to be seen just how much Bayern Munich would want in return for a sale — or even a loan — of Coman.
FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain were both loosely linked to Coman over the summer.
