Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona could be in a two-horse race to land Bayer Leverkusen center-back and Germany international Jonathan Tah.
As Bayern Munich delays its bid because of the uncertainty surrounding Kingsley Coman’s departure, FC Barcelona appears ready to go into overdrive to land the 29-year-old, per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg:
#Deco, now directly involved and working on a transfer of Jonathan #Tah as Hansi Flick wants him ✔️
@FCBarcelona are currently willing to pay 20 million euros. Bayer 04 are aware of this.
There were also new talks between the player’s management and FC Bayern today. But no new Bayern offer yet.
Tah wants to leave Leverkusen in the next 48 hours or 2025 as a free agent.
Things could get interesting in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
