Former Bayern Munich manager and current German national team boss Julian Nagelsmann announced his first roster call-up since the EURO 2024 tournament and — shockingly — only five players with current Bayern Munich ties got the nod.
Goalkeeper Alexander Nübel (on loan with VfB Stuttgart), right-back Joshua Kimmich (a central midfielder these days for Bayern Munich), attacker Jamal Musiala, and central midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović were the only Bayern Munich players selected.
It should be noted that Nagelsmann left Leroy Sané out due to his current health and fitness status, while Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry were just straight omissions.
