Pini Zahavi is representing Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah and has made it clear — his client wants out of Bayer Leverkusen as soon as possible.
The public statement could put pressure on Die Werkself to consider rumored offers from Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona.
“There have been several offers in recent weeks, all of which have been rejected despite his desire [to leave]. We want to avoid a player as deserving as Jona leaving the club for free next summer. That’s why we hope that we can find a solution in the short term that all parties can be happy with in the end,” Zahavi told Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Jona made the decision to leave Bayer Leverkusen early this summer and communicated it to the club in several personal discussions. After nine years at Bayer, including the historic league title last season, Jona now wants to take the next step in his career.”
Now, the ball appears to be in the court of both Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. Which power club can get a deal done?
