Transfer developments are moving fast with Bayern Munich and Kingsley Coman.
The Frenchman is said to be heavily weighing a move away from the German Rekordmeister in the transfer window’s closing days, with a Premier League club his preferred destination. Now Arsenal FC may oblige.
However the move will not be easy, as detailed by Daily Mail reporter Sami Mokbel. As captured via @iMiaSanMia:
Arsenal have explored a move for Kingsley Coman ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline. Mikel Arteta wants to sign a forward as he looks to add greater competition in wide attacking areas. The cost of bringing Coman to the Emirates will be key towards any successful move, particularly given the lucrative wages on offer in Saudi Arabia [@SamiMokbel81_DM]
The Gunners, felled by Bayern in last year’s Champions League, are looking to bolster their wings, where they already have the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, and Leandro Trossard.
However, they will likely need to at least be competitive with Saudi Arabia club Al-Hilal on the finances. From the Bayern perspective, the move could also have (had) impact on its play for Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah — as explained by Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg:
Kingsley #Coman has not made a decision yet whether he will join Al-Hilal or not.
However, FC Bayern hope for a decision within the next few hours in order to move forward with other personnel matters.
Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, still working on Jonathan #Tah deal. But the focus is currently on the sale of Coman first.
Time is running out. Also for Tah. Crucial hours.⏳

At time of writing, Coman is still at Bayern, and it looks like it is too late to get Tah (who also had FC Barcelona interest) out of Leverkusen.
