Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl seems happy with Bayern Munich’s transfer window haul.
“It’s good to have an international break straight after the transfer window. It’s fun to build a squad. You discuss many things, what’s doable. Planning a squad is a puzzle of people with feelings. It’s like an orchestra. You build a group with which you try to achieve your goals,” Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “It’s a normal transfer window where there are negotiations. If something isn’t right then it’s not right. We’re very happy with the squad we have.”
Eberl continued on to say that Bayern Munich was done with this transfer window.
“We will not sign any more players. If anything, then maybe another departure. We’re very happy with the squad we have. Of course there are considerations, but we’re extremely happy with the squad,” said Eberl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
However, Eberl also had this to say and leave the door open just in case something comes up (via @iMiaSanMia): “The transfer window is open in Germany until this evening. As long as the market is open, anything can happen in football.”
So…where do things stand? We will have to just wait and see.
