The summer transfer window closed a few weeks ago, but Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres already has a long list of suitors who will look to lure him away from the Portuguese side.
According to a report from CaughtOffside last week, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and PSG are the main clubs to watch in the race for Gyökeres. Moreover, SPORT reports that FC Barcelona have the Swedish goal scorer as a potential long-term replacement for striker Robert Lewandowski.
Nonetheless, there’s another club now in the mix for the 26-year-old. TEAMtalk reports (h/t Le10Sport) that PSG are still monitoring Viktor Gyökeres, who is also attracting interest from four English clubs.
Arsenal recently inquired about him, and Tottenham are looking at him as a potential option for next season. Liverpool see him as a possible replacement for Darwin Nunez if he departs, while Chelsea aren’t making him a priority right now.
Gyökeres netted a brace on Sunday, bringing his tally for Sporting this season to 11 goals and three assists. He now has 14 goals and five assists across club and country. Remarkably, he’s contributed at least one goal in every match so far this season.
