It’s a lovely goal – the assist from Joao Felix, the finish from Christopher Nkunku.
We’re going to have a very fun season if our B team keeps tearing apart weaker teams in the cups like this regularly.
Renato Veiga inverted from left back – just as planned. He found Felix, who had drifted into space just off the Barrow defence. As they raced out to meet him, he lifted the ball over to Nkunku, who was running in behind and just had to slot the ball in. Gorgeous goal.
