Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks due to an ankle ligament injury.
The 23-year-old had to leave the field just 14 minutes into Leeds’ 2-1 victory over Watford on Tuesday.
Head coach Daniel Farke has since confirmed the extent of Ramazani’s issue, ruling him out of action for an extended period.
“Sadly bad news with him (Ramazani),” Farke said. “Twisted his ankle. Sadly it’s a serious ligament injury. Doesn’t need surgery but will be out four to six weeks. Best case last week of November.”
On Wednesday, Ramazani took to social media and provided an update on his injury, saying “I will be back”.
Ramazani was a summer signing from Almeria and joined Leeds for an undisclosed fee, having spent three years at Manchester United as a teenager.
Since joining the Elland Road side, the former Belgium Under-21 international has scored three goals in eight league appearances for the club.
