It’s happening…again.
Bayern Munich’s hallowed grounds of the Allianz Arena are going to play hose to another NFL game — one that pits two of the absolute worst teams in the league against each in what will likely not amount to much more than a bunch of Americans waking up, only to forget the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants are in Munich.
All that said, the Allianz Arena has gotten a temporary makeover:
One thing we know is that the turf will get wrecked and that the NFL will do the absolute bare minimum to help Bayern Munich fix what will inevitably be a major mess.
Sure, the local municipalities are likely to get a boost with hotels, restaurants, and other miscellaneous businesses, which is a great thing. However, not even the fraudulent acclaimed “Sodfather” can be counted on to make things right after this debacle takes place.
Godspeed Allianz Arena grass…we hardly knew ye.
