The 2024/25 season is just three months old, yet we’re already getting new kit leaks for the 2025/26 season. Well, in a way.
Now, this isn’t exactly a Bayern Munich-specific leak. Adidas have just leaked the new template for their goalkeeper kits for the following season, specifically for their lineup of “elite clubs.” Bayern, of course, is a part of that coveted lineup, which also features Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal FC, Juventus, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and AS Roma, the latter of which got an absolute banger for their current home kit. Take a look.
Anyway, back to Bayern. The new goalkeeper kit template will be used by all the elite clubs as per usual. According to the good people at Footy Headlines, this time with X user @Rode1Kits, the template is based on the 25 Tiro Goalkeeper Competition kit.
There’s nothing too notable about the design, other than the ripple effects that point outwards from the shirt’s chest sponsor. It’s definitely a more subdued look than, well, whatever you call the current season’s template.
The sleeves seem to have lighter color shades than the body. This begs the question: will adidas go back to releasing long-sleeve shirts, or will they persist with the short-sleeve shirt/long-sleeve undershirt combo that they have tried in the past few seasons? That remains to be seen.
If the leaked images are to be trusted, Bayern’s main colorway seems to be green, the same as Arsenal and Newcastle. Juventus and Man United will be blue, Liverpool and Roma black, and Real Madrid going solo in purple. There will almost certainly be discussions among fans about whether adidas are just lazily copy-pasting the same design and color for multiple clubs. That being said, every club will receive kits with multiple colorways as always, depending on the fixture and opponent.
