Ruud van Nistelrooy is officially confirmed as the new Leicester manager. We will see an explosion in attacking football and everything else will be following. Some might remember Marcelo Bielsa and his approach at Leeds, this could be something of the same.
We love the fact that there will be no safety net as we did see with Steve Cooper and it will be a tall order for the defenders to follow the route and that could possibly backlash if they are not able to solve one very difficult task of football defending.
Recent talk also suggests that Renè Hake will be joining him as an assistant, and we also believe that Ben Dawson will be part of the set up as it progress. Leicester do have the attacking options believed to be in line with what Ruud van Nistelrooy will demand, but we could see at least one or two new attacking players being drafted in during January.
The key for Ruud van Nistelrooy is youth and youth developement and we do hope that the squad will be build in this manner to address the importance of youth players coming through and just rolling on as that becomes the formula.

This is exciting news for the club and the fans, and hopefully grumpy pundits will understand what type of scoop Leicester have made with this appointment. He has a wealth of understanding how to get the ball in the net and knows very well himself how to that week in and week out.
He will also be clear and obvious regarding mature players, understanding how they should be treated and not operate as a second grade school teacher. There are also major issues to solve regarding team selection and how to build the team up and make those vital changes over the next two transfer windows.
This is no easy task, but to fight and believe is what Leicester is all about and hopefully that will continue in a more attacking and clear picture of play. We have earlier described this as a part of the process started under Enzo Maresca, as Ruud van Nistelrooy looks a similar type, but said to be more fearless minded.
We wish Ruud van Nistelrooy the very best and he will also bring with him a lot of attention from abroad and put Leicester on the map with major interest from outside.
Leicester are currently in the market for a top forward with a long term future as we do believe scouting are on high gear at the moment, to get the correct player in. Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy, Jordan Ayew and Odsonne Eduoard are the players to use at this point, but Ruud van Nistelrooy will soon find out if they are capable of being that option up front needed to play the type of football the former Dutch international would like to see.
Evan Ferguson (Brighton), Neo Dobson (Northampton), Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich) are just three names in the rumour mill. There could be players leaving in January, as youth developement will become much more important and the main recruitment channel for this club going forward.
