Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Wolves is now in.
Well, here we go… Manchester United simply have to win today. There can be no getting away from that fact. Erik ten Hag’s side will be feeling the pressure after back-to-back losses, though three points here would help steady the ship and calm the nerves.
It’s not going to be easy. Despite the fact Wolves have little to play for but pride, they’ll be up for the challenge. They’ve also done well at Old Trafford, too.
This will not be a goal-fest. Both these teams have done better defensively this term, rather than going forward, so expect another tight encounter that could go right down to the wire.
Anyway, the team news is now in. Sadly, there is no Marcus Rashford who was an injury doubt coming into the game. United will have to do without their top scorer today.

David de Gea was always going to keep his place in the line-up here, despite the fact he was pretty poor against West Ham last time out. There’s just no other real option out there.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been in good form lately, with the Englishman starting in the right-back position. Luke Shaw moves to a more familiar left-back role, with Raphael Varane partnering Victor Lindelof at the heart of defence. Welcome back, Rapha!
Casemiro hasn’t been at his best since returning from suspension, though I suspect having no game in midweek will help out in that regard. The same can be said about Christian Eriksen. Bruno Fernandes completes the midfield trio.
Antony has been good, without really sowing up on the stats sheet lately. He will play off the right-hand side, with Jadon Sancho starting on the left-wing. Anthony Martial leads the line.
Come on you Reds!
