Donny van de Beek has been pictured back in Man United training following injury.
Manchester United Football Club have had to deal with many injuries in the second half of this season. To their credit, the squad has remained together and, for the most part, played well despite that adversity.
Amongst those who will not play again this season is Donny van de Beek. The Dutch midfielder picked up a knee injury during a game against Bournemouth back in January. His campaign was confirmed to be over pretty quickly.
The ex-Ajax man just hasn’t been able to catch a break since the move to Manchester. He’s been unlucky in terms of consistent minutes, positional switches and injuries.
Well, there has been some good news for Van de Beek, with the 26-year-old United player spotted back in training following serious injury.
The official club website confirmed that the midfielder has taken another step forward in his rehabilitation, with Van de Beek now working with coaches back out on the grass.

The aim for Van de Beek remains to be fit in time for the start of pre-season, with the Dutchman still keen on making a positive impression here in Manchester. You do get the feeling he will be given that chance by Erik ten Hag in 2023/24 – though this may be his last chance.
Regardless of my personal opinion on Van de Beek as a player, it’s positive news that he’s looking good to be fit for the start of the season. A good pre-season is crucial to any success for a player and we’d all like to see him succeed as it’d be helpful for the club on the whole.
It’s good to see you back out there, Donny!
