Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Bournemouth is now in.
Manchester United’s final away game of the season is here. The Old Trafford side require two wins to secure their place in next season’s Champions League. Three points here would be absolutely huge.
With that said, Bournemouth aren’t going to roll over. It has actually been a pretty difficult away day for United since the Cherries returned to the Premier League. It’ll be another dogfight for the win here today.
Erik ten Hag will be working without Marcus Rashford today, who is missing due to illness. He did return to training earlier in the week, though fell foul to the issue on Friday.
That makes things harder, particularly as Rashy has been United’s main source of goals all season long. However, you always back United to do well, so let’s hope they can pull it out of the bag here.
Anyway, the all-important team news is now in, so let’s get right to it.
Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Bournemouth in full here:
David de Gea continues to start in between the sticks, despite the Spanird’s inconsistent form over the course of the campaign.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka keeps his place in the side at right-back after his excellent form. Over on the left-hand side, Luke Shaw is given the nod. Raphael Varane is back fit again. He partners Victor Lindelof at the heart of the back four.
Casemiro will be benefitting from just the one game a week right now. I’d hope to see a stellar display from the Brazilian in this one. The same goes for Christian Eriksen, with Bruno Fernandes making up the three-man midfield.
Anthony Martial is given another start here. You still feel as though he’s playing for his United career. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Jadon Sancho. Let’s hope United’s wide men mean business.
