A Manchester City fan was seen applauding Julio Enciso’s incredible strike for Brighton before it had even hit the back of the net.
City were leading through Phil Foden’s goal but Brighton equalised in the 38th minute courtesy of Enciso, who scored with an excellent effort from 25 yards out.
One City supporter behind the goal was quick to recognise the brilliance of the strike.
The draw was sufficient for Brighton to confirm their place in the Europa League for next season.
19-year-old Enciso is thriving in the Premier League and has scored some impressive goals recently.

Commenting on the City fan clapping, one Twitter user wrote: ‘Seeing the City fan behind the goal clapping Enciso’s strike before it hit the back of the net is very satisfying’.
Another wrote: ‘The Man City fan clapping Enciso as his shot went in. Love fans that can appreciate a goal like that’.
Another added: ‘Them Man city fans with a round of applause. What a goal by Enciso’.
Another Twitter user added: ‘Fair play to the Man City fans behind the goal who had the perfect view of Enciso’s moment of brilliance and cry oh ‘oooh’ and immediately applauded the finish’.
One Twitter user joked that the City fan wouldn’t have been applauding the goal if their team was still in need of points to win the title.
They wrote: ‘Not sure they’d have been doing so, two games ago, but the Man City fans were applauding that strike from Enciso as it was hitting the net!’.
Another wrote: ‘The faces on the Man City fans behind the goal for that Enciso strike, and the fact that they just applauded it…says it all!’.

After the game Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi praised Enciso but stated that he is still looking for improvements from the youngster.
De Zerbi stated that Enciso has ‘big, big potential’.
De Zerbi said: ‘Julio’s goal was incredible. He has big, big potential, I want him to play better and play for the team. If he stays with us I think he can improve.’
City thought that they had restored their lead, but Erling Haaland’s goal was ruled out by VAR after he was deemed to have pulled back Brighton defender Levi Colwill.
Brighton face Aston Villa away on Sunday in their final game of the season.
