The final games of the 2022-23 Premier League season take place today, with many teams already looking ahead to the next campaign.
Manchester City picked up their third title in a row last weekend following Arsenal’s defeat to Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners, Newcastle and Manchester United will all be playing Champions League football next season. The top four was secured following the Red Devils’ win over Chelsea.
Liverpool will be playing Europa League football next season along with Brighton and Hove Albion. After nine months of drama, fans will have to wait nearly three months until the new season gets underway.

When are 2023-24 Premier League fixtures announced?
The Premier League confirmed last month that next season’s fixtures will be released on Thursday, June 15.
Next season’s fixtures will be be revealed at 9am in the United Kingdom.
Dates for all of the 380 matches will be released at that time.
When does the new season start?
The 2023-24 season will start on Saturday, August 12.
Next season’s final round of fixtures will be held on Sunday, May 19 2024, when all games kick off simultaneously as usual.
The schedule is set to return as normal following the World Cup in 2022. Over the last few seasons, the Covid-19 pandemic has also disrupted the Premier League schedule.
Next season, the fixture list is set to see the return of a winter break that will take place between January 13-20.
In order to avoid a congested schedule across the Christmas period, the Premier League confirmed that no town rounds will take place within 24 hours of each other.
Burnley will be one of the teams competing in the league next season after winning the Championship
Which teams will be playing next season?
As of right now, 19 of the 20 teams competing in the Premier League next season have been confirmed.
It includes Burnley, who earned promotion back to the league after finishing ten points clear at the top of the Championship.
Vincent Kompany’s side will be joined by Sheffield United after the Blades sealed promotion as they finished second in the Championship.
The final team coming up from the Championship this season were Luton, after they defeated Coventry City in the play-off final.

Southampton will not be playing Premier League football and were the first team to officially be relegated this season.
