Barcelona are set to renew their interest in Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, according to reports.
The Portuguese international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer, after their historic Treble-winning campaign in 2022-23.
The likes of Saudi Arabia giants Al-Hilal have already registered their interest in Silva, who was reportedly given a ‘lucrative opportunity to join a Saudi League club’.
However, his move to the Middle East may be put on ice after reports claimed that Barcelona are ready to move for the attacking playmaker once more.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Xavi has now made Silva his primary target in the summer transfer window.

The outlet claim that the club understand that a deal for Silva would be difficult to orchestrate despite his desire to leave.
Club president Joan Laporta hinted at Xavi’s urge to sign Silva in a recent interview with the outlet. He said: ‘Xavi says that we will go for the Champions League and that it will almost be mandatory if we reinforce the team with a couple of pieces.’
There is optimism that, with Silva being represented by Laporta’s friend Jorge Mendes, a deal might be able to be struck.
Should the Catalan giants be unsuccessful in their pursuit to sign Silva, the LaLiga side have already identified Tottenham outcast Giovanni Lo Celso as an option.
The Argentinian international spent last season on loan with Villarreal as he looked to put his north London nightmare behind him.
Despite never finding his feet at Spurs, his performances both on loan and with his national side prove that there is an impressive player there.
And the outlet claim that Xavi is also an admirer of the Tottenham star and could seek a move for him should they fail in their pursuit of Bernardo Silva.
