Jack Grealish has received widespread plaudits for appearing to donate £5,000 to a 20-year-old given only weeks to live.
Young Birmingham City fan Dylan Lamb is battling blood cell cancer and doctors fear he may only have weeks left.
His family have organised a £1million appeal on GoFundMe to raise funds for a clinical trial of treatment in America that he needs.
After more than 7,000 donations, the total raised stands at £122,011 (at the time of writing) – with £5,000 of that seemingly down to Manchester City and England winger Grealish, who seems to have made the top donation.
The ex-Aston Villa star has seemingly put the fierce rivalry between his former side and Birmingham aside to make the generous gesture.

Grealish has been hailed by fans of numerous different clubs for his donation, while Dylan’s sister-in-law Kelly Payne said: ‘We’ve been sending the appeal to loads of footballers – I think he probably saw it.’
A Swansea fan said: ‘Jack .. continues to show how much of a class act he is. And that not all footballers are out of touch with the fans .. Living his best life at the same time.’
Another account added: ‘Massive respect,’ followed by a clapping emoji.
A third posted: ‘Love Jack top class.’
While one tweeted: ‘Fantastic gesture by Jack Grealish for a great cause #bcfc #mcfc.’
Another continued: ‘Proper likeable fella,’ before one concluded: ‘So so so lovely of him… wow.’
Grealish previously made headlines after donating £5,000 towards a friend and Villa fan’s funeral after his tragic death earlier this year.
The £100million man was once punched by a Birmingham fan who had invaded the pitch during his side’s derby clash with Villa when both sides were in the Championship – before Grealish, 27, went on to score the winner.

Dylan’s mum Kim Veitch said: ‘Wow, we as Dylan’s family and friends cannot even begin to express enough our gratitude for all the donations, shares, and messages of support (the messages really are helping us to stay positive).
‘We really feel the love and prayers and we would like to thank each and every one of you individually for your support. Dylan is so touched by it all and sends his sincere thanks too. Please, please, please keep sharing his story so we can get it out to as many people as possible..
‘Please please please keep pushing and sharing, to help get Dylan the treatment he needs and deserves. He has fought so long and hard, let’s carry him the rest of the way. Much love!’
Birmingham FC added on Twitter: ‘Blues supporter Dylan, 20, is currently fighting for his life, with his best chance of survival being a clinical trial in the U.S. Due to his life expectancy, he has just weeks to hit his target.
‘Any help Bluenoses can give to Dylan could save his life.’
