Manchester United reportedly join Premier League rivals Arsenal in the race for Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey.
Manchester United are reportedly set to rival Arsenal for Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey.
The Red Devils failed to strengthen the right side of their defence in the summer, leaving Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot to fight for a place in the side.
Wan-Bissaka started the opening four Premier League games, before being dropped for the defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in September.
Dalot, who was utilised as a left-back in the opening stages of the season, has moved over to the right side in recent weeks, with Wan-Bissaka sidelined through injury.
While Dalot and Wan-Bissaka provide Erik ten Hag with useful options, the Red Devils are open to the prospect of signing a new right-back.

According to Fotospor, Man United are keeping tabs on Galatasaray’s Boey, who is also a target for their Premier League rivals, Arsenal.
The report claims that the Red Devils sent scouts to watch Boey play the duration of Saturday’s derby against Besiktas.
Scouts from Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley were also in attendance to compile reports on the 23-year-old.
Galastaray went on to win the game 2-1 after Mauro Icardi netted either side of a strike from former Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Outside of the Premier League, the 23-year-old defender is believed to be attracting interest from clubs in Spain, Italy and France.
Boey is currently in his third season with the Turkish giants after arriving from French club Rennes in the summer of 2021.
The right-back has been a regular fixture for Okan Buruk‘s side this season, starting all of Galatasaray’s 17 competitive matches.
Boey, who has a contract until June 2025, has made a total of 69 appearances for the Turkish champions, chipping in with three goals and four assists.
