Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for Barcelona stars Gavi and Pedri.
Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona duo Gavi and Pedri.
The Blues bolstered their midfield over the summer with a number of additions, including Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Lesley Ugochukwu also arrived to add to Mauricio Pochettino‘s central midfield options, which already featured Enzo Fernandez, Conor Gallagher and Carney Chukwuemeka.
Like their Premier League rivals, Man United strengthened in the middle of the park, with Mason Mount arriving from Stamford Bridge.
While Mount completed a move from Chelsea, Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Fiorentina.

Despite focusing on the engine room over the summer, Chelsea and Man United still appear to be on the lookout for new midfielders.
According to Sport, the Premier League duo are among the clubs showing an interest in Barcelona stars, Gavi and Pedri.
The report claims that the Catalan giants could be tempted to sell in the future due to their ongoing financial concerns.
The two players, who have also been linked with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, have the potential to bring in significant funds, with the pair valued in excess of €100m (£87m).
While their departure would improve the club’s economic situation, Barcelona are still determined to keep hold of the two Spain internationals.

Gavi and Pedri are viewed as two important players on Xavi’s side, and they are regarded as key assets for the future of the club.
However, there is a belief that Barcelona will look to sell Spain international Ansu Fati at the end of the season.
Fati has fallen down the pecking order at the La Liga champions and is currently on loan at Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Although he was once regarded as a precocious talent, Barcelona are willing to sanction a permanent departure next summer.
Barcelona, who occupy third place in La Liga, will be in action on Saturday when they play host to bitter rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico.
