No, Tottenham Hotspur haven’t signed Genoa central defender Radu Dragusin, but by all accounts they’re making steady progress. According to the Evening Standard’s Nizaar Kinsella, Tottenham remain in active talks for the Romanian defender and are hoping to sign him for under £25m.
It sure sounds like the Jean-Clair Todibo negotiations are just about fully dead; I wonder if Spurs balked after learning Nice’s asking price for Todibo (£43m) and how long it might take to actually sign him. But there are some suggesting that Dragusin is actually Ange Postecoglou’s first choice in the January market, and so long as another club doesn’t swoop in for a big-money deal for Todibo this month (Chelsea are now linked, lol) there’s every chance Spurs could go back for Todibo this summer.
At any rate it looks like things are progressing nicely for the Dragon. Hopefully we can get this landed soon; the FA Cup match against Burnley would be a really nice opportunity to bed him in.
