We’re into the final 12 hours of the transfer window, and it’s very quiet at Chelsea.
It looks like there will be no players coming in, and no permanent departures either. The links connecting Armando Broja with Fulham are still there, but there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of movement on that front at the moment.
Meanwhile on the Telegraph’s live blog, Matt Law is reporting that Deivid Washington, the third choice striker in the squad, was available for loan but now looks like he will be staying too.
This feels like a missed opportunity. If it’s becoming clear that Broja is going to stay, is there no chance we can find a last minute 6 month loan for Washington? He’s not learning much on our bench, and is getting further and further down the depth chart now that Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are back and Broja is sticking around.
