But of course, captain Reece James has recently had to undergo surgery and will not be back out on the pitch for the club any time soon.
The most frustrating thing about Chelsea in recent times is their injury record, especially to James. He’s rated so highly, but he can never seem to stay fit enough for a sustained period of time, which is causing a lot of issues.
James played alongside Jorginho when the pair were together at Chelsea, with the aforementioned of course now with Chelsea’s London rivals, Arsenal.
It is Jorginho who has been praising James this week when asked to compare him with another right back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
“Is he (Reece James) better than Trent?” Jorginho was asked, as picked up the The Boot Room.
“They are different, but if I was choosing for my team I would choose Reece, he is more complete, but then Trent has these passes and this shooting, it’s unbelievable, it’s different, but overall I think I would choose Recce,” Jorginho said.
