After a nice interview with manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea TV dropped a rather cheeky question – which Blues player would lift the trophy tomorrow if we beat Liverpool.
“The captain,” replied the coach, not giving anything away.
It’s a great cheeky answer. We assume that the captain will be Ben Chilwell, but of course we’ve also seen numerous other players with the armband this season, and it’s not even clear who will start the game, so we may have to wait until 2pm tomorrow before we know for sure.
