Deivid Washington has had a tricky season.
Brought in as a talent who never looked much like he had a chance of playing in the first team, he also wasn’t sent out on loan as the club looked to preserve their depth.
He’s alternated his time between our bench and the reserve side, for whom he scored a great goal last night.
Let’s hope next season the club can sort him a good loan so we can see this sort of thing more regularly. There’s also a chance he gets some minutes on Wednesday against Leeds in the FA Cup.
