Chelsea came back to win on Wednesday night, but the first goal they conceded after a nervy start almost cost them the game.
Blame was spread across a few players and the manager, but ultimately it just came down to a brain freeze from Axel Disasi. As you can see from the image above, he tries to pass to Moises Caicedo when he’s surrounded by Leeds players. Not only that, he gives a sloppy ball that puts Caicedo in a hopeless spot.
It’s the kind of mental error that has convinced some pundits that Disasi is not a top tier defender.
