Chelsea’s owners could soon be rubbing their hands together after receiving a much needed ‘serious windfall’ according to an exclusive report today.
Chelsea, like most clubs around right now, will need to sell some players this summer before they can look at bringing in more new faces, which is something they are expected to do. They need to balance the books to keep in line with the rules, something that they were expecting to do regardless. So more player sales will happen.

They are also looking to receive another big sum of cash from a player being sold who they don’t even own anymore, and that is because they inserted a buyback clause in his deal when selling said player in 2019.
As you can see below, Chelsea are set for serious windfall if Bayern Munich sell Jamal Musiala this summer due to a 20% sell-on clause. Unfortunately there is no buy-back option. Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked for £80m plus!
