Ian Rush, Liverpool’s all time leading scorer wasn’t just only a poacher but also terrorised the defenses of oppositions not only with his finishing and predatory instincts but also his pace. His partnership with Kenny Dalglish was one of the best one in their era contributing to a lot goals for Liverpool and helping Liverpool in dominating at both domestic and European level during the 1980s.
3. Kenny Dalglish
Kenny Dalglish was known as “King Kenny” by the Liverpool fans, and this represents the spirit and success of the club like no other. He arrived at Liverpool from Celtic in the year 1977, his impact on the field was immediate and none of the fans missed Kevin Keegan after his departure.
With a remarkable mixture of skill, intelligence, and scoring ability, Dalglish led Liverpool to numerous domestic and European championships, including three European Cups. 4. John Barnes
