Cole Palmer has been called up to the England squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium this month.
The 21 year old has retained his place in the squad having been called up for the first time in November and made his debut against Malta at Wembley before earning his second cap against North Macedonia.
Palmer has been superb for the Blues this season and put in a man of the match performance against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in front of Gareth Southgate.
The former City man is Chelsea’s top scorer this season with 15 goals from 36 appearances across all competitions and also has 11 assists.
He has featured mainly on the right hand side for Mauricio Pochettino but has also played centrally as a number ten and has been deployed as a false nine.
The versatile forward was added to Southgate’s squad for the November internationals following an injury to James Maddison.
