One BBC pundit has selected a Chelsea player who he feels is ‘going under the radar’ at the club this season.
Chelsea have largely had a very up and down season so far and the league position at current reflects such inconsistencies.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new Premier League full back to transfer shortlist. Also, a promising French left back has joined the same list!
Today they will have a chance to get into the semi finals of the FA Cup if they managed to beat Leicester City in the quarter final match this lunchtime. This would be the second semi final they have made this season, having actually gone all the way to the final of the League Cup only to lose out to Liverpool.
Their league form has generally not been good enough though, but there have certainly been some sparks and positive performances from some of the players, one of which is Conor Gallagher.
Former England and Arsenal player turned pundit Martin Keown believes Gallagher is going under the radar with his performances this season, as he told Football Focus.
“I think Conor Gallagher is another player going under the radar,” said Keown. “He is just like a one-man army. The way he presses. The way he joins the attack.”
