Malo Gusto had another great game yesterday, and his stats prove it,
WhoScored’s algorithm didn’t pick him as man of the match, but most broadcasters did, and he kept up his fine form with a showing that was both dangerous in attack and solid in defender.
He completed 92.7% of his passes, and made 9 crosses, more than the rest of the team combined. He also played 3 long balls, all of them accurate. His 2 “key” passes were joint second in the team.
Defensively he led the team with 5 tackles, and also made a clearance.
He also got an assist, although it was a simple pass for Noni Madueke’s strike at the end.
We hope he’s put in cotton wool now. He’s a key man for the run in, and we don’t want him getting burned out now. He’s played a lot of minutes at high intensity in an exhausting position. Please let him have a break!
