It’s certainly been a very up and down season for many Chelsea players so far this season and also last season, but some signs are starting to show that some of them are now finding some decent form.
Many of the new players are young and have really been feeling the pressure of playing for Chelsea, which is understandable. Confidence has been shot at times and there have been many inconsistencies and good and bad performances.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new Premier League full back to transfer shortlist. Also, a promising French left back has joined the same list!
Players like Mykhailo Mudryk have been struggling to find their feet in a new league and despite showing promise, have still needed to learn and develop more to get up to scratch.
Mudryk has been doing so much better in the last few games, and he was great against Leicester City yesterday afternoon, helping Chelsea beat them 4-2 to reach the semi finals of the FA Cup.
As you can see from his stats below, he was playing very well before being taken off….
🇺🇦 Mykhailo Mudryk registered more successful take-ons (4/6) and more touches in the opposition box (7) than any other player for either Chelsea or Leicester City inside the 78 minutes he was on. Unbelievably, he is the first player to come off the pitch. #CFC #CHELEI #CHELSEA pic.twitter.com/Q62GJVVfdp
