good morning!
Programming note: Fitzie will be off next hoddling duties next week. Instead you will have a couple substitutes dutifully filling in. Do treat them kindly.

I’m gonna keep this hoddle a little bit short today and throw it to you guys with a question: What new music are you looking forward to?
Is there an upcoming release you’ve got your eyes on, or did you just go through the entire Beyonce record? Either way – please share!
Your hoddler-in-chief has been eagerly awaiting for the latest Vampire Weekend album. It was released last week, but has yet to show up in my mailbox. I’ve loved the couple singles they releasd to support it though.
And they performed a concert during the total eclipse this week, pretty cool!
Other than that, I’ve really enjoyed some of these new Decemberists songs, Burial Ground and the 19-minute Joan In The Garden.
I’m hoping to discover a few new finds this year (how else will I do Fitzie’s wrapped in December?). In the meantime, I’ll be waiting for Vampire Weekend to show up.
Oh! I’m also waiting for the Charles Mingus Byrdland deluxe box set to come in – stay tuned for a hoddle on that in the future.
